Websitefree.org is now offering Free Websites for anyone interested. The sites are in a blog format and include a free subdomain.
Blogging has become an extremely popular as a way for anyone to be a reporter. It’s actually quite a cool thing since it makes it possible for experts in many different fields to report on their niche rather than some outside reporter getting around to reporting on something few people, at least in terms of selling newspapers or television commercials, are interested in.
Writing your own blog is also a way to express your opinion to an online audience in a way that was never been possible before.
So sign up today and be a star

I happened to be reading PC World the other day and read an article entitled
The 10 Biggest Security Risks You Don’t Know About Many of those risks can infect you through chatting and I’m sure everyone who chats has heard of botnets. I think that article should be required reading for anyone who uses a computer. In fact I think everyone should read it and have to pass a test on it.
Internet security is only as strong as it’s weakest link. The issues discussed in that article cost tens of millions of dollars annually a cost that is ultimately passed down to consumers through higher prices on consumer goods and services.
A friend suggested that everyone who goes online should have to sign a liability waiver meaning IF your computer is taken over by a worm/virus/trojan due to negligence you would be responsible for the damage it caused. I don’t know if I would go that far but everyone needs to start taking internet security seriously.
If you’re one of those people who say ”I don’t have any important information on my computer so I don’t care about hackers” Read the article and find out why you should.

We all hate spam* and I particularly hate it when a former member of our staff uses email information he obtained as a member of staff and uses it for that purpose. (in violation of our privacy policy)
Yes that is what happened and we appologize if you become a victim of this spammer.
We are contacting legal authorities regarding our options both criminal and civil and will deal with this bottom dweller by all means possible.
For your safety we will be implimenting a non-disclosure agreement which must be signed by all staff members.
Our attorney has assured us that this will make such violations of your privacy much less likely in the future and make dealing with these acts, in the event it becomes necessary, much simpler.
In addition if you receive this spam* be sure to mark/report it to your isp or email provider and help us all rid the internet of spammers.
* E-mail that is not requested. Also known as “unsolicited commercial e-mail” (UCE), “unsolicited bulk e-mail” (UBE), “gray mail” and just plain “junk mail,” the term is both a noun (the e-mail message) and a verb (to send it). Spam is used to advertise products or to broadcast some political or social commentary.

It’s been a rocky week. We’ve been replacing servers and our DNS host (registerfly.com) has been updating their website which has apparently also been causing issues with the chat network and our chatters.
Hopefully all of these issues will be resolved soon and CW and I (CM) will be able to take a long awaited vacation to somewhere.
We’ve considered Yellowstone park but we love Orlando so that is also a possibility. If anyone has any suggestions we’re open to them.
We intend for this blog to combine both chat network issues and personal ones. You are just as likely to read about about chat servers or about our opinion of George Bush but we’ll try and keep the blog as positive as possible.
Welcome and we hope you’ll find it enjoyable to read.
